The end of an old era

As news reached Ruiyn the mission was a failure, he quickly made his way back to the hide out as fast as he could. This was his mission to set up and something went wrong. He had to find out why, and what went wrong. As soon he got to the hide out he began questioning people on what happened.

Anastasia stood silently in the corner and let the higher ranking members discuss what just happened. currently she was having a small mental breakdown and was designing a tesla coil that could be mounted on her arm. however she was still thinking of the phantom on the hill. and it showed on her face.

"What happened, what went wrong?!" Ruiyn started yelling. "This mission was suppose to be extremely simple." Another assassin piped up "It was the templers sir. Teh fired first and hit the target 'fore we spotted them. But we did kill 'em for hitting the target! But we din't ge' the one 'ho go' the presiden'." (accented slur say it how it spelled) Ruiyn pointed at Anastasia "You with me! We need to follow the vice president and find out what hes up too."

Anastasia looked up. when she realized that all the other were looking at her she pointed at herself. ''Me, sir?'' she was uncertain why he was choosing her. ''am i finally being trained?'' she asked as she followed him, making sure her shawl was in place, covering her face.

Ruiyn spoke quickly "Yes your being trained. I need someone to help me and your the newest and I need to see your abilities. Lets go." He begins quickly leaving wearing his suit.

behind her shawl she was smiling, or at least trying to. the scarring made it hard to do.

''um master? she said tentatively.

Ruiyn waves her closer. "What is it you wish to know?" Ruiyn adjusts his suit making sure he looks good.

''I was there'' she said, ''i heard the gunshot. I ran. But I saw something odd. I saw a phantom on a hill.''

"Ok. Were are heading to the airfield. That's where the president was heading in the first place. We must move very quickly." He climbs into his car and starts it.

anastasia climbed into the passenger seat of the car. it was a nice car. it was a stingray, fresh off the assembly. it was royal blue and beautiful. he must have spent a fortune on it.

''nice car,'' ana said running her hand over the dashboard. ''i never could have afforded one in Russia.''

"Thank you."  Ruiyn spoke quickly. He sped the car down the road, driving to the airport quickly putting it into 4th gear. As they got to the airport, he quickly began searching for the vice president.

''sir,'' ana asks timidly, ''what are we looking for?''

"Reach into the glove compartment and hand me the badge. We are looking for the vice president. He should be heading to Airforce One. By the way take a badge for yourself insert the photo on the right. We are suppose to be undercover agents. We need to split up to cover more ground." Ruiyn spoke softly.

ana reached into the glove box and grabbed two badges. she looked at them. ''святое дерьмо,'' she exclaimed, ''are these real?'' she asked handing a dallas police badge to him before working on her own. ''will this work with me being a...''

"A woman? Yes it will. Avoid using russian while we are here. Your a undercover cop escorting me around. Im looking for a sign of a bomb. We got a tip from a anonymous caller. I was sent in because its here." Ruiyn spoke quickly as he steps out of his car, walking towards the back of it. Ruiyn opens the trunk and pulls out a revolver in a chest holster. He puts it on quickly and heads towards the airport putting his jacket on.

ana reached into the trunk and grabbed a small gun and slipped it into her purse. she then closed the trunk and went after ruiyn. ''yes sir,'' she said. ana closed her eyes and focused a bit. she opened her eyes after a minute. ''hows this mon Cheri?'' she asked with a creole accent.

Ruiyn steps back for a moment in surprise. " That is surprisingly good. Yes that was good and it will work. Now be careful when looking for the vice president. We need to be extremely quick before they get to the plane." Ruiyn walks into the airport going to the clerk flashing his badge quickly and explaining what he needs done quickly.

''yes sir,'' she said as she peeled off. she tried to ask questions but most just scoffed at a woman cop from the bayou asking questions. after an hour she returned to the car. she pulled out of her purse a pack of cigarette and lit one up. it was a habit from when she was still in moscow.

Ruiyn was getting no where fast. He knew the time to find them and get them was over. "Damn." he muttered under his breath. He started to walk out the front doors. All of the sudden out of nowhere three men grabbed him, a gun jammed against his back he knew there wasn't much he could do. So he did the only thing he could do. He pulled his hands out of his pockets dropping his wallet and badge. Starting to bend down and pick it up and they just shoved the gun in his back deeper. He quickly straightened up and began walking the directing he was being told. As soon as he walked around another corner he drew his hidden daggers. Swinging around striking the man with the gun in his hand ,knocking it aside while cutting him deeply. Finally getting some breathing room he was prepared to fight for his life. The man who was deeply cut called for back up while the other two prepared to fight Ruiyn. Ruiyn quickly lunged at one to the right trying to stab him in the chest. Ruiyn knew as soon as he did, he made a rookie mistake. His blades sunk home only to hit a metal plate at the end of a kevlar vest. The man on the right hit Ruiyn with both hands knocking him instantly unconscious.

Anastasia had just finished her cigarette when she saw ruiyn come out of the building. she dropped her cigarette, stepped on it and started to go towards him. when she saw the men grab him she got scared. she hid behind the car. she heard the fight and the final blow. she heard them drag off ruiyn.  when she felt it was safe she popped her head out. she could see them dragging off ruiyn. she decided to follow them. she followed them to a van where they threw him in. at that moment something clicked. tey were speaking russian. she fell back. as she returned to the car she saw something. she ran over to it, her boots clacking on the lot. when she got close she saw it was his badge. she picked it up. she ran to the car and got behind the wheel. she waited for the van to pass before she followed them to a private air field.

on the side of one plane ana saw something that made her heart speed up. tyur'ma proklyatykh. she turned around and returned to base. she knew where they were taking ruiyn.
